Course Purpose:   Provide initial introduction and scope of NJPropertyFax offering and capabilities. Discuss how NJPropertyFax would be beneficial to local officials in risk assessment, notifications and tracking/mapping substantially damaged homes. is available to Floodplain Administers in New Jersey at no charge. is a robust mapping and data source containing tax maps, tax assessment data, FEMA Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHAs), ABFE layers, Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) data and much more.

Key Functionality:    

  • 1.    Asset Management tool:   Track and map substantially damaged homes, properties in violation, mitigation projects, elevation certificates, LOMA’s and much more
  • 2.    Notification tool:   Identify and mail to homeowners via visual mapping tool.
  • (Example:   Map SFHA / ABFE differential layer and collect all homeowners effected by this change.  Produce mailing labels or export for mail merge within minutes.)


This 2 hour course, demonstrates using the NJPropertyFax product to use assessment data, tax maps and other data layers to track, analyze and manage properties in areas of risk.  This program provides attendees with an understanding of, its diverse use and wide appeal.
